You know what... we've bagged the title again for Women's A Division again this year!! This makes it 11 years in a row from the time when it was still under SRU in 1997. Ladies, remarkable feat aye!
This season has definitely been more relaxing and inclusive compared to previous ones, and it can really be seen when the younger ones like Kimmy, Lay, Stumpie are stepping up and playmaking a little more -- seeing the holes, commanding calls. AND having that core aggressive attacking skills that is very Wantok. The future is looking good :)
Ohh, and CONGRATS BOON LAY for getting the Toas MVP award!!! You deserve it!
Our Taniwhas still have that elusive FINAL against the UWC girls. We know its gonna be tough, BUT WE all think that our Wantoks can give those girls a run for their money! Tighter defence and forward momentum on attack will give us that extra edge!! GO TANIWHAS!!
